The Drive Medical Nitro Euro Style walker is my #2 pick for a darn good reason. I feel it has all of the safety, durability, efficiency, and comfort of my top pick while being a little easier on the wallet. What’s not to love about that?
Some walkers just can’t hack the outdoors. That’s okay if you don’t want to be mobile outside your home. However, for those of you, or your loved ones, that want to keep on keeping on with your daily routine, it’s a must.
The Drive Medical Nitro Euro Style walker really is rugged enough to be an indoor/outdoor walker. I love this facet because it means you don’t have to worry about your walker. Just go!
Being able to go where you want is a huge positive in terms of independence. Using a walker shouldn’t feel like a restriction. It’s a walking aide! So, on that note, I love that the Drive Medical Nitro Euro Style walker is lightweight and easy to transport.
Weighing in at 17.5 pounds, you can fold that little guy up and throw it in the back of your Cadillac. Simple as that.
When it comes to home health gear, comfort is equivalent to compliance to me. If something is comfortable, you are bound to use it more often. If not, it’s going to sit in the back of a closet collecting dust.
The Drive Medical Nitro Euro Style walker has a great seat size. It is big enough where you don’t have to try and balance yourself, just sit down and take a load off. It also is a comfortable seat. That way, if you need a break, you really can relax a little.
Another bonus is that it’s height is adjustable. This allows for you to get the correct fit to your body. Ergonomics is so important in a walker. It can save you pain and frustration in the future.
There are a couple issues I do have with this walker. While the seat is comfortable and large, it isn’t quite as supportive as my #1 pick. That being said, I did say this model was a tad less luxurious.
Also, there have been a few complaints of the wheels breaking down after a year or two. This is a tough one. On one hand, they shouldn’t be breaking down. On the other hand, when you have an indoor/outdoor walker, they are going to get more wear and tear.
I think that this is still a solid walker but it’s important to note the issues I have with it.

Overall I really love the Drive Medical Nitro Euro Style walker. While it is not quite up there with my #1 pick, it was an easy #2 pick. If you want a walker that is safe, durable, comfortable, and convenient without all the bells and whistles, this is your winner.
