Why do you need a mobility scooter?

Getting a mobility scooter doesn’t mean you need to be house bound or bed ridden. Instead, think of it as enhancing your life! A mobility scooter is a great fit for a lot of different lifestyles. You could simply have low energy levels and getting a Pride mobility scooter will allow you to keep the active life you crave. It is also for those who are wheelchair bound that desire to keep their independence.

Stay active in your community and remain social with friends and family. Do you want to be able to go to coffee with your friends? How about getting together at family events and not wanting to be a burden? A mobility scooter is a great fit for you.

Why the Pride Mobility Scooter?

If the leading manufacturer of mobility scooters name isn’t enough, there are plenty of other reasons why this scooter is the best one for you. The name says a lot about this scooter- heavy duty. When you want to go out in your yard and re-fill your bird feeder or maybe even pick up some sticks, this scooter is going to handle like a dream. Take a look for yourself at the Pride Mobility Scooter now on Amazon by clicking here.

Usually when you think of a heavy duty scooter, you think of it as very bulky and heavy. This is a time where that assumption is completely wrong! The Pride mobility scooter is lightweight. It is so lightweight in fact it is great for travel! Gone are the days of having to buy a ramp and van to get from place to place with your scooter. This baby disassembles with ease to fit in your car!

All the bells and whistles!

Here is where the Pride company really shines through. While this scooter has a 325-pound weight capacity, the scooter itself only weighs 87 pounds. You heard me! This is an 87 pound, heavy-duty, durable mobility scooter. It sits on 4 wheels for a stable ride at top speeds of 4 mph. While some may see the 4 mph as a disadvantage, I think it is an advantage. Sons and daughters can rest easy knowing mom isn’t going 30 mph in a grocery store knocking over small children!

Are you a traveler? Do you go to see family and friends often? Disassembling the Pride mobility scooter is as easy as it gets. It breaks down into 5 lightweight pieces to fit securely in your vehicle. Now you can actually relax and enjoy yourself on vacations. No more renting scooters when you have your own you can bring with stress free.

We all have our essential items we need to take with us wherever we go. Phone? Check. Purse or wallet? Check. Where oh where could you put all these items while cruising on your Pride mobility scooter? The storage basket of course! It is conveniently located on the front deck of the scooter for easy access.

Ok, so now that you are living it up and be-bopping around town with your new Pride mobility scooter, how long does that battery last? 18 hours of pure uninterrupted fun! With the off-board dual voltage charger you can charge your battery pack on board or off board.

What the manufacturer may not tell you

While this mobility scooter is hands down the best for it’s designed purpose, it does have a few problems. For instance, the turn radius is not the best out there. However, it still boasts an 80-inch radius! Because of its 4 wheels, it cannot get a smaller radius than that.

The other downfall is that it cannot go up really steep hills. It can go up regular hills just fine but if you are planning on climbing up a mountain of a hill, you better just get a ride. Other than those two features, this really is a great addition.

Who is it for?

The Pride mobility scooter is for those who want to remain independent and active. It is very versatile in that it can be used anywhere from an assisted living community to around a farm yard. It’s great for those who are looking to travel as well.

I would suggest this scooter for anyone that is potentially home bound or returning home after a hospital stay. It is great for anyone getting care in their home. You can use it as much or as little as you need it. Just knowing the Pride mobility scooter is available and able to help you do what you love to do is a huge benefit.

Who isn’t it for?

This scooter is not for someone with a very small home or living space. While it is great indoors and outdoors, it is not great in very small spaces due to its size. It is not a great scooter in areas that are not handicap friendly either. For instance, if there is no ramp to get up a level to a restaurant or store, you may be out of luck.

Also, if you do not have enough upper body strength to maneuver the handlebars, it is clearly not the right choice. It does not take a lot of strength to drive, but if you have had a stroke it may pose some difficulties.

The Verdict

The Pride Mobility Go-Go Sport 4-wheel Electric Travel Scooter is the best mobility scooter for those who want to maintain their style of living. It boasts being both durable and lightweight as well as a great battery life. These are the key features for most who are looking to purchase a mobility scooter.

I would highly recommend purchasing the Pride mobility scooter above most others. It’s not too pricey but it also does not sacrifice quality. It’s definitely the best bang for your buck. If you are looking for a mobility scooter, this is the best one for you! Head over to Amazon now to take a closer look by clicking here.
